Thomson Reuters published labs_AMLD26_workshop, hands-on training materials from an Applied Machine Learning Days 2026 workshop on AI security testing. The session teaches how to find vulnerabilities in large language models.
The Guardian released three new repos. play-access-logs-to-metrics is an AWS Lambda tool that analyzes server access logs to identify which endpoints in large Play Framework applications are actually being used. devenv is a CLI that simplifies dev container setup by separating team-wide project settings from personal developer preferences via simple YAML configs. And feast-ingredients-to-instructions was a hackday proof-of-concept for incorporating ingredients into recipe instructions for their Feast cooking section.
ABC News Australia released script-geotiff-maplibre-tiles, a Docker pipeline that converts high-resolution geographic imagery (GeoTIFF) into web map tiles for use with MapLibre GL JS, Leaflet, or OpenLayers. They also released service-time-series-river-heights, a tool that automatically fetches Bureau of Meteorology river gauge data into a SQLite database for tracking water levels and flooding conditions.
GovTrack released caucuses, a dataset tracking caucus membership for U.S. legislators. GovTrack is one of the longest-running open government data projects, and this repo extends it with congressional caucus affiliation data.
City Bureau added Columbus, Ohio to its City Scrapers network with city-scrapers-coloh, continuing to expand its system of automated public-meeting scrapers across U.S. cities.
